Why Resize?
Printing huge enlargements from lowpixel count images is the first andobvious task handled by STOIK Smart Resizer. Posters, bannersize pictures and plotter jobs will benefit from a higherresolution source. Some stock agenciesrequire a certain minimum resolution for considering an image for acceptance. Reducing the size of an image is often needed to create tiny yet detailed previewsand thumbnails.
The BuiltIn Tools
All photo editing applications have image resizing capabilities built into them. Some of them offer a choice betweenseveral algorithms such as Linear, Bilinear, and Bicubic.
